Membership at Resurrection

Let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness.
- 1 Peter 1:15 (the Message)

Members at Resurrection are those who sense God's invitation to make their spiritual home in our church community and are committed to discipleship and mission with us as expressed in our vision, mission, and identity.

What is the process?

1: Let us know

Contact us to let us know you’re interested in membership. We’ll get you connected with our clergy, answer any questions, and the next opportunity to take our membership class.

2: Take the Class

Twice a year a membership class is held, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. Those who are interested in becoming members must complete the 6-week “Welcome” class and a 1-week membership class. All potential members are asked to be at Rez for about 6 months before being commissioned.

3: Get Connected

Whether it’s joining Table Groups, finding a place to serve, or building relationships, there are so many ways to get connected. Our hope is that through all these pathways you’ll encounter the transformative love of God.

4: Commissioning

On the Feast of All Saints (November 1st) we receive those who have made the commitment to membership at our parish. It’s a brief moment of prayer and support for the whole community.
